Developing the B2C Content Strategy For Udacity

 

Objective:

Create the end-to-end content strategy for Udacity’s (the market leader in online tech education) consumer go-to-market. To do this, I developed, implemented, and maintained the company’s Brand Voice & Tone Guide, Ideal Customer Avatar Guide, key messaging & positioning, custom GPTs to increase content output, and editorial calendar.

Key Results:

  • In less than 8 months, drove 29,179 net new audience and 48 million impressions across the company’s organic social media channels with no paid ad spend

  • On LinkedIn (Udacity’s top-performing social channel), improved impressions 51.7% year-over-year, engagements 116% year-over-year, and engagement rate 42.9% year-over-year.

  • Increased content velocity across blog & social media channels by 3X by building and deploying custom GPTs trained on Udacity brand voice & tone

  • Launched cross-functional webinar program for company, which drove 3.7k new leads and 28,800+ webinar replay views for company within 6 months of inception with zero paid budget

  • Revamped Udacity YouTube channel, leading to 6.3 million video views and 32,071 new subscribers in first 12 months of launch

  • Published strategic thought leadership pieces in the fields of Generative AI, artificial intelligence, machine learning & other cutting-edge technologies
